Mini-Figures Rule.
It’s official. We are a LEGO family and one of our current obsessions, Collectable Mini-Figures.
We have completed all 4 series and even carved them out a little corner in our home.

64 Mini-Figures, 4 shelves, 1 for each series.
Now we are waiting patiently for series 5.

I want to be able to zoom in on that picture!
(seriously though, I do)
Is that really his shelf?! I’m impressed! My 7yr old has SO MUCH STUFF! I struggle with him really taking care of his things. I find all his stuff through out our house and usually on the floor. How do you guys do it? I would love to get my son these things but can’t help imagining them all over the floor:-(
lol
we just got the haz mat guy, from a random pack at Borders. How do you buy individual mini figures of your choice? We have enough Legos to put the kid through college, but he loves them.
OMG the zoom idea is awesome! If I have time I’ll work on that!!
The shelf are flat white legos Velcro-ed to the wall. It’s not too sturdy but it’s cute!
Bridget – The minifigure package have bump codes. It’s not an exact science but you have “read” them. Go here for more info…

Tell me about the calendar. I’ve never seen one.
I just got that! Saw it at the LEGO store. Don’t know much about it.
Hey we went to a Lego store in Florida.
It was on the broadwalk (believe part of the Universal)
If not sorry.
sure you could google it.
we love it and I do not have any small kids.
But Lego are great.
I wonder was that where you went.
Haven’t been to that one. I’m luck to have a LEGO store about 1/2 hour from the house. There’s a small store at the Arundel Mills Mall in MD.
Are these the little packages that you buy at the Lego store?
*LOVE* the shelf idea!!!
My brother was HUGE into Legos when he was younger. My DS doesn’t like the sets b/c he wants to build whatever he wants–it’s SOOOO hard finding just a plain box of Legos. My brother still had all of his from the 80s so he dug them out and gave them to my boys. OMG, they play Legos for HOURS!!!!! I find the little pieces all over the house…but they enjoy them so I don’t mind.
They are!
They actually have retro lego sets at the store by us. In the old packaging and everything. It’s on my list for Ryan as he likes to do more imaginary stuff with them.
Oh my gosh how cute is that?!! I loved legos as a kid and now my 3 yr old is totally getting into them so with two boys I might have to keep this project in
mind haha
